Dear friends and family,
It was an exciting morning that went far better than what Toby expected when he began the classes at 7:15 a.m. The men were very excited to learn about all the verses that talks about the importance of the Bible. Toby asked them to study two or three verses under each point after classes. When Toby went up to do his studies to prepare for tomorrow he found the men discussing and doing a deep study on as many of the 50 verses as they could. Toby finally had to mention that they might want to get home before they even started to think about it. They were so deep into their studies(deeper in their discussion that what Toby thought they would go) that they were not aware of how much time had gone by. I think that is a dream come true for any teacher.
Please continue to pray for Toby and the men.
We appreciate your prayers,
Toby and Amy Hill
Dear friends and family,
Toby started the Bible Institute on Friday. He has 5 or 6 men who are studying to be evangelist on Monday through Wednesday in the morning. In the afternoon, they have two hours of study time and then they have to take the material they learned and teach it to someone else. This will reinforce what they learned several times. It also provides them time to work so they can provide for their families. He has three to four men who want to learn more about the Bible. These men want to work during the day so Toby will be teaching them on Monday and Wednesday afternoon. The churches here have services on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday so this schedule allows the men time for family, church, school, and work. Please pray for the men that they would be able to learn, develop wisdom, develop thinking skills, and be men of character. Pray for Toby as he teaches the men. The classes will be starting tomorrow morning at 7 a.m.
May God bless you,
Toby and Amy Hill
