Dear friends and family,

We want to thank you for all your prayers, support, and suggestions.  Cassandra was only in the hospital one night.  We feel that it was due to everyone's prayers that Cassandra's problem was not more severe and that it was fixed so quickly.  On Monday, she had an x-ray that showed everything was ok and we were given permission to return home.  We have been trying to get her regulated with the medicine and diet.   We are still working on that.  We give praise to God for her wonderful appetite.  We are hoping that she replaces and adds on to the weight that she lost.  We returned home Thursday the 10th).  The girls cheered and clapped when we landed.  We were all grateful that we could return home so quickly and get back to work.

I was amused last night and today that even though no one knew we were home I had several patients.  Santos, one of our ministers, advised not to have clinic today because no one knew we were home.  One of the men at the Institute has the flu or dengue (which is prevalent currently).  One of the church member's son has bronchitis.  Our neighbor's boy, we rushed to the hospital for severe abdominal pain (possible caused by drinking poison).  We still have not heard what is wrong.  We were so grateful another of our minister, Mauricio, went. The parents did not care but Mauricio is there to help him through this time.  Please pray for Antonio that everything will be ok and that this will give us an opportunity to witness to our neighbors.  His dad is sleeping with his niece (not biologically related but significantly younger) and runs a bar where drugs and alcohol are common.  His mom could care less about him.  I felt really bad as I was discussing with her

Our arrival was so unexpected that the mechanic forget to get all the bolts tightened on the car.  We prayed that we would make it home ok.  We could hear something clacking but didn't know at the time what it was.  The mechanic hadn't tightened the bolts for the shocks.  It destroyed the shocks but at least we made it home ok.  Toby spent the last half of the day going over the car and making sure everything was ok.

That is all the news for now.  Thank you again for all your prayers and support.

May God bless you,

Toby, Amy, Cassandra, and Sarah Hill
