Jackie Amy saw the doctor today and all is well. She is having some light contractions and is dilated 2 centimeters so he will close check on a weekly basis. She is to rest for an hour after each meal and monitor the movement of her baby. Due date is April 22. Linda and I will be going there April 27-May7. Daniel looks better than ever. Up to 32 pounds. His dad him to Amy last Wednesday and it was a great visit. A medical doctor and his wife in Lawrenceburg, IN (greater Cincinnati) are in process to adopt Daniel so he can thrive and have future surgeries at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. Daniel's family has agreed to this and Daniel is excited about it too. Clinic attendance is at 25-30 a day. People are pleased to have Amy back. No patients were lost while Toby and Amy were home through the rainy season. Amy was so concerned that some of those with breathing problems wouldn't make it. Amy is working with a family with a little "blue baby" with heart problems. Samaritans Purse is assisting to get the girl to the States for needed surgery. She is also working with Ruth Paz to aid other of the children. The Penitas church (base church with the clinic) is growing. Three gals are expecting. One just delivered. Men are really stepping up to leadership which has opened lots of opportunities for the women to be church involved. Other churches are growing more slowly due to the severe spring rains that were more damaging on up in the mountains. Have a good meeting tonight. Dennis Weaver
