Dear friends and family,
Daniel had his small procedure done this morning where they took out the tubes (that was holding his stomach closed until the swelling went down).
They also did a thorough exam. Dr. Sheldon was very happy with how
everything is healing. He decided today that they will check his bladder
wall in 2 to 3 weeks to see if it has decreased in size or not. Dr. Sheldon
is still concerned whether or now the bladder wall will decrease in size and
work properly so please keep that in your prayers. He also feels that Daniel
will be here longer than planned (April 16th). We above all want Daniel healthy but it would be the best situation if we could take him back with us. Please pray that everything would be working properly and he would be to
return with us. He will be taken out of traction next Tuesday most likely.
They will probably decide whether or not he will have a body cast at that point. Praise report! Remember how I asked you to pray last e-mail that he
would pee more? The next day there was a dramatic difference and he was back
to or above normal levels. Praise the Lord!!!
Please also pray that Toby would make it into Cincinnati Saturday evening. His tickets are for Monday since that was the first seat they had
available. He is going to try to get on standby. We are thankful that Nate
and Ben from Lexington Church of Christ are down with Toby right now working
on building a church for the people in La Union. The truck broke down over
the weekend again so we are asking you to pray that it works at least until
Toby leaves the country.
As we often say your prayers make a difference and without your prayers the ministry goes nowhere. Toby is in better spirits and things seem to be
going more smoothly. Thank you so much!!!
God bless,
Toby and Amy Hill
