Dear friends and family,

Please continue to pray for Daniel. Last Wednesday he was discharged from the hospital. The hospital staff was kind enough to hurry things along, since Toby's dad called Wednesday morning to inform us Toby's grandmother had died. The funeral was Saturday.

Starting Saturday, Daniel was not breathing, drinking or eating well. He also developed a fever. He had a doctor's appointment for today so I called Dr. Sheldon's nurse practitioner Nan (who will be taking care of Daniel when we leave) to ask she be there. I told her what was going on. In return she called an associate of Dr. Sheldon, since Dr. Sheldon was out of town, who told us to take him to emergency room. Emergency room gave him some antibiotics and an inhaler since they could here some asthma. Since he is in a full body cast we cannot listen to his lungs properly or get a good chest x-ray to see if he has pneumonia. This morning we were asked to come in for an appointment so we went and everything seemed ok. We arrived home and the home health nurse came in to take care of his IV (it's called a PIC line and goes into his heart). She found he had a temperature of 103 F. We called the resident on call and they are going to start him on an additional antibiotic. If he does not start eating or drinking better he will be admitted back into the hospital tomorrow. Nan, Dr. Sheldon's nurse practitioner, just called. She found a daycare that will take Daniel while Nan is at work. She is just looking for the funding now.

Please pray that Daniel will be healed from his breathing and possible urinary infections/problems. Please also pray that he will start drinking and eating more. As always we greatly appreciate your prayers.
