Dear friends and family,

We have exciting wonderful news. Our lawyer called a week and half ago telling us that we should have our baby by the end of July. Donnamae, our lawyer, has many connections. She talked to the First Lady of Honduras, President's wife who just happens to be an American citizen from Cincinnati. She said as soon as our lawyer returns from vacation, July 12th, to come to the capital and she will sign off on our adoption. Cassandra should be around 3 to 6 months old and fair complected. We don't know who she is or how we will find out who she is but we are trusting God to lead us to the baby girl He has for us. We originally thought we would not receive Cassandra until December or so. It was a shock and exciting to find out that we will have her sooner than what we expected. Please continue to pray for us and Cassandra as we finish out this process. Things could still change so we still need your prayers for us, Cassandra, and our lawyer.

Thank you for all those of you who have been praying for my surgery and recovery. We really appreciate it. It is because of your prayers that I am doing so well. I had my final check up on Friday. The doctor was very impressed with how everything is healing. We are returning home tomorrow, June 25th. We are excited to get back to work and prepare for Cassandra.  Please continue your prayers for my healing and also that my energy levels would continue to improve. Thank you again for all your prayers.

We just received great news. Lexington Church of Christ has agreed to buy the property for us in La Union de Rio Frio. Thank you so much Lexington.  This two-story house will house the clinic and church in La Union. It will  also provide room for clinic/hygiene classes as well as ministry classes. 

This is an answer to prayer! We also just received word that a doctor in Cincinnati has accepted Jose Daniel's case. The doctor said the only problem is that they need to find an anathesiologist. Please pray that one will come forward to help Daniel. Daniel is a 10 month old baby with several internal problems that is very severe. Please pray that all the legal work would go smoothly as well as everything else that needs to be done to bring Daniel to the states.
