Dear friends and family,
We would really appreciate if you would pray for Sarah our
daughter. Since she was 6
months old she has been on and off antibiotics.
She typically can only make it for at the longest a month
before having to go back on antibiotics.
Today I took her to a specialist(ENT).
He did an endoscopic exam on her sinuses and throat.
She has 4 or 5 infections.
He is going to try two antibiotics to see if this clears it up
for 2 weeks. If that
doesn’t work he will try the same thing for 2 more weeks and if that
doesn’t work she will have to have surgery.
We have gone down the road of 2 antibiotics to cover everything
before and it has not worked. She
is so sick and miserable right now.
I know medicine needs time to work but she has been on
antibiotics for a week now. She
is now switching the new stuff the doctor prescribed today.
I want her well now but I know it takes time.
Our health insurance will not
cover surgery since this is a pre existing condition.
As of right now we have one surgery that we have to pay for and
most likely a second one. We
don’t have the funds to pay for 3rd surgery(or for any of
the others). We could
have the surgery done here although I like this doctor trusting him to
do a surgery that is not common here is another thing.
I really want to take her to my former pedaetric ENT Dr.
Charles Myers at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital if possible but like
I said the health insurance won’t cover it till next May.
Please pray that she is healed and that surgery will not be
necessary. If the Lord
feels this surgery needs to be done pray that He will provide the
funding. Thank you for
