Dear friends and family,

We are currently in Tegucigalpa, the capital, waiting for our plane to
hopefully take us back to San Pedro.  It is so cloudy here that they might
cancel the flight which means a long bus ride that makes us sick.

Why are we in Teguc.?  We finally were able to submit our request for
adoption.  Praise the Lord!!  After 8 months we finally were able to take the
first official step.  Everything went extremely well.  The lady at the
national adoption agency was very nice and helpful.  We did have to extend
our desired age to one year old but our lawyer feels we still can receive an
infant.  Since we are residents here the lady was very encouraging that the
process will go a lot more quickly for us.  We were also able to go to the
U.S. embassy to figure out what we need to do so that Cassandra will be an
American citizen.  We were very grateful for this opportunity to go with our
lawyer because she was determined that once we legally adopted the baby that
it would be a U.S. citizen no matter what I told her the embassy said.  So
all three of us were at the embassy to get everything straightened out.  Once
again our residency will help the process.  We were also able to start the
legal process for obtaining my Honduran nursing license which will open the
doors wide open for me here in Honduras.  The property that Madonna Spratt is
giving us is finally being worked out.  The land and house we are trying to
purchase in La Union de Rio Frio should also be bought and legalized soon.
So it has been a very productive day.  We appreciate your prayers.  Please
keep praying!

God bless,

Toby and Amy Hill
