Hello everyone!

We thought you would like to know that Harvey and Le Ann Waddelow are coming down to do a video for us on Monday.   We are really excited to have them come.   They will be with us Monday afternoon until early Thursday morning.   We will then take them out to the coast to assist Madonna and John Spratt.

My foot is finally healing.   I have permission to walk moderately.   I am not allowed to go back to normal activities for another 2 weeks but I am really excited to be out of bed.   The doctor was really happy with my progress.   I should not have any scarring as long as I follow doctor's orders.

Yesterday and today we are busy visiting and taking care of needs of 5 of our patients in the mountain who are in hospitals.   A 3 month old baby has bronchial pneumonia.   I was really happy that she arrived at the hospital in time.   At one point, I thought she was not breathing while I was trying to find a way to get her to the hospital.   It was frustrating yesterday to have this baby and a 12 year old boy who needed nebulizer treatments  and when I hooked up the machines they were not working.   The one of the pediatric doctors was wonderful.   She gave me about 40 scalpels and answered my questions about where to get things done.   We are going to try to get the nebulizers fixed today since we are heading into the asthma season (rainy season).  Our neighbor lady fell and broke her foot on the way to church on Saturday.   A teenager had appendicitis and so they removed his appendix.   He may be coming home today.   Another teenager was run over by a car.   So in a hospital where patients don't receive much care we go to see what still needs to be done.

We are trying to get an infant to the states for surgery.   His testicles and penis are internalized.   He has a huge umbilical hernia.   The paper work for Jose Daniel is prepared for submission to Children's Hospital.  I am hoping that he can have a surgery, come back home, and then go again when it is time for the next one since I need to accompany him.   We hope all this works out OK with the ongoing adoption process.

Toby's discipleship groups are going really well. He is working with the men that we want to send to the Bible Institute.   We found out recently that construction will not be done until September next year most likely.   Please pray that the men will keep  interest as it has already been almost 2 years of waiting.   Hondurans are not known for keeping their interest in such things for extended periods of time.

Toby found an ideal vehicle for $18,000 for my use.   We still have to get it checked out and see if we can get a better price for it.   I have not seen it and don't know to much about it except Toby said it is ideal. Also we found a motorcycle for Juan for $1600.. a really nice and sturdy bike for him to get around.

We had our interview for the adoption several weeks ago.   We felt it went well but there are 7 other couples adopting that each have to receive their child before we can receive ours.   They say now maybe by January or February.   This is the third time it has been put off so we will see.   We are trusting in God's provision.

God bless you,
 Toby and Amy Hill
