Dear friends and family,

What an exciting weekend it has been! We were so proud of our guys. They have grown tremendously. So many things show the night and day difference from what they use to be and now are. We had over 160 people from our churches come for graduation service. Then Sunday for the ordination we had over 150. Toby did the best job ever with his Spanish in leading the ordination service. It was quite emotional as he explained the joys, trials, and their job as ministers. Most of the guys were in tears over the awe of responsibility and being chosen to be ministers of the gospel. It really meant a lot to us to have Amable Rivera and Antonio Orellana, ministers who originally came from the mountain and are now serving with Lifeline Christian mission, come up for their ordination service. Amable and Antonio helped with the laying on of hands as the 6 young men were ordained. Emilio who also graduated and is our minister at the Penitas church had previously been ordained. Each of the men had a part during the service and did an excellent job. I think it was the best service we have ever had. After the graduates began their life of service serving others food, cake, ice cream and Pepsi. Antonio, one of the graduates said it was like 2 days of Christmas for him.

One of the best things was that my dad, Dennis Weaver came down for the graduation and the ordination service. The church where he preaches has paid for the guys to attend the Bible Institute. We thank Park Plaza for their generosity in not only providing tuition but also providing the graduation gift of Thompson Chain Reference Bibles. The guys are so excited to have them. It probably is one of their most cherished possessions.

We wish you could know these young men. You would be so proud of them and be amazed at their growth. I have taken probable 15 rolls of film and between 400 to 500 on our digital camera. After the next couple of weeks you can visit our website where pictures of the graduation, ordination service, ministry, and of mountain people will be displayed. my dad will be sending the pictures to our website mananger soon. Today Toby will be meeting with Emilio and Santos(our two ministers) and then the guys to set their schedule up. There are so many churches wanting them to come and preach. Doors have flown open.

We thank you all for all your prayers and support. With the young men graduated and on fire to go, the ministry is ready to explode thanks to you.

May God bless you,

Toby, Amy, Cassandra, and Sarah Hill; Emilio Aldana, Sergio Castellanos, Henry Perez, Antonio Paz, Enrique Paz, Leonel Dubon, and Mauricio Reyes
