Dear friends and family,

We had a wonderful weekend getting to see friends that we have not seen for a while. We also had the opportunity to visit with people we do not often get to visit with. Friday we participated in the English Church Christmas program. Toby was a shepherd, wise man, and soldier. I was an angel. Saturday, we attended the wedding of Julio Corea a national minister. His wife is from the capital city, Tegucigalpa. All the missionaries from Tegucigalpa attended the wedding as well as about 100 people from the church in Teguc. It was a very rare opportunity to get to see everyone together.

Sunday we had three baptisms. Enrique is the son of Santos who we send to the institute. The two others were female teenagers. We have two other girls thinking about it. We also have a man who has decided to start attending the institute in January. His name is Max. He is the brother-in-law of Christine Vigil. Santos is doing an excellent job preaching the church people really enjoy him. The former minister, Amable, will be coming up for a couple of Sundays to preach on some areas that are needed. There is a lot of false teaching going on right now. We are trying to keep the church together while standing up for the Bible.

Some of you may remember a guy trying to case our house. For some reason he hates Americans which meant he hated us-for no reason. Noe is an alcoholic who shows some signs of cirrhosis of the liver. Tuesday afternoon he was diagnosed with 6 ulcers in his stomach. He came home to rest afterwards. He was in such severe pain that my worker Lita came down to get me. I found out he drank a glass of milk when he arrived home which is one of the worst things you can do. For the first time I went with Toby on an emergency run. We stopped at the church to tell Emilio that Toby could not preach. I stayed with Noe until they admitted him into the hospital. He has not arrived home yet so we don't know how he is doing. That exciting thing is that our great
concern for him and his illnesses have him thinking about God. This man is full of envy, bitterness, and anger. He is slowly starting to change.

Please pray for Noe that he would come to know the Lord and quit drinking. Update on Noe. He has pacreatitis. He has been in the hospital for 2 days with nothing done. We went today and spent the whole getting things moving. He is having
one examine done as I am writing and another one will be done tomorrow. We are waiting to get him some Demerol (for severe pain). The doctor did not put on a prescription paper for controlled substances so we will not be able to get it until he comes tomorrow morning. We will know more hopefully tomorrow.

God bless,

Toby and Amy Hill
